Belly Dancing Class

Hey everyone! Belly dancing has been one of our most popular classes for good reason. The teacher is completly amazing and the students love the choreographed dances and the chance to wear a belly dancing skirt to class. Here are the women who were willing to be on camera, but in total, there were 18 women in class on this day. Go girls!!!

Chair Class for Feb 18th!

Check out our chair class for Feb 18th, 2010. My camera died 46 seconds into it so I didn't catch the whole routine. There was a fall in the back row that you can hear...but luckily wasn't caught on tape :)

America's Got Talent Audition

Hey this is Becca. I just wanted to write a quick note about my experience auditioning for America's Got Talent. I really have to give a shout out to Jen, the Casting director. She has been so helpful through all this. She found me after talking to the folks at Pole Superstar. So she called me up and asked if I would audition for the show. It was a blast training with my husband. He choreographed all the sword stuff for me, and helped me put it all together with my pole tricks. When we went down to Vegas, it was so much fun rubbing shoulders with so many talented people. I just had so much fun watching all the acts before me, and seeing all the crazy stuff people come up with! When it was my turn to perform I was alot less nervous than I thought I would be. we all joked around a bit and watched the video of my act (seeing as how I couldn't take a pole with me) then they had me perform my sword routine, and it went great!

Anyway it was all in all a really fantastic day and we all had a great time. We'll see how it goes and if I get invited back for the final round. Even if I don't, it was a fantastic experience that I would totally do over again! Chase your dreams..you never know where those doors will lead!!

Becca featured in the Standard Examiner

Just another Tuesday night at Blue

It's been a while since I've been at the studio on a Tuesday night. So I went around and took pictures of all of the 8-9pm classes. We had a funky break dancing class, a super duper full Pole Fitness I class, and an aerial basics class full of beginners with loads of potential.

Break Dancing 101

Our students here at Blue love our beginners break dancing class taught by Justin Goodson. Definately not ready to go into a break dancing battle (lol), but they are learning new and challenging moves while also getting a great workout. The instructor makes you feel like you're having fun. Laughter, jokes, and good a good vibe is what you can expect when you come to a break dancing class. I have a rule when it comes to dance: I will try any class once and you should too!

Aerial Hoop Classes!

The new aerial hoop class is so much fun and I am so excited to teach it. Those who have taken aerial silk and pole fitness will love the new challenges of the hoop. The hoop utilizes upper body strength, flexibility, balance to perform amazing tricks on a large hoop suspended in the air. Becca's got talent!

Our cute little Becca Butcher will be competing to be on the "America's Got Talent" TV show! Her second audition is next week in Las Vegas. Wish her luck!

Pink on the aerial!

I love it when celebrities showcase their dance talents and singer Pink is no exception. At the 2010 grammy awards, she did a knock out performance on an aerial silk (which we teach here at Blue). Check it out!
